Moving On

A few months ago I adored the double cuff trend and was totally prepared to buy either a pair from ASOS (as pictured above) or from Diva. And while this trend is only just beginning to become popular in Australia, I find that I am already over it. I looked at what I have in my wardrobe and just wasn't sure whether I would really get a lot of wear out of the cuffs. This just goes to show how fleeting the life of a fashion trend is. Therefore I have decided to downgrade to this gorgeous simple cuff from Sportsgirl that I can just tell is going be a lot more versatile and add something extra to the basic outfits I seem to be wearing these days.

In other news, my 18th birthday is this Friday and I am getting really excited!!

Today's Outfit

I spent today driving around with my best friend going into shops and out for lunch, it was nice just to chill out today! I wore a pair of Guess Jeans, a Quirky Circus Jumper, Pashmina Scarf and a ring I found at the markets last weekend.

Fur

A fur jacket is the best type of winter staple, not only does it keep you warm but it makes you look amazing and sophisticated. However with this trend still in its infancy here in Australia it feels a bit daunting to the regular teenager to go out all glammed up in a chunky fur, therefore I have set my sights one step lower than that. The fur vest, of which I have bought two of for this season. A white fur from Mink Pink that I found at an Op Shop for $6, and a gorgeous brown one from Target for about $34. I have only worn the brown one once so far and am in need for some outfit inspiration.

My Favourite Photos Right Now...

Apologies for the lack of posting this past week or so I've been studying for my first and last uni exam, but now I am free for a month and a half while on holidays and need to start thinking of things to do instead of just watching reruns of Friends and sitting on the computer all day. New Fun Things

This is my favourite new shirt, I got it for $3 from the markets, and the necklace was $6 from City Beach.

These are my new Sportsgirl sunglasses that I love! They're a really good cheap version of the Cat Eye frames that I've seen done by Sabre and House of Harlow. Also this gorgeous new necklace from Love Couture.

Cute deer ring I found at the markets for $3, I've found so much good cheap stuff down there.

Finally these awesome army style boots that I've found recently after I've been looking for the perfect pair for so long.
