On Wednesdays We Wear Pink

Once again I'm going to attempt to trick you into thinking I can trend predict. So here we go.
On a couple of blogs I've been following I've noticed hints of pink in what people are wearing, whether they're head to toe in the colour or have it as an accessory. I think for us Aussies pink is going to be an important summer trend to incorporate into our wardrobes, whether its a neon pink, a dusty pink or pastel pink, it will all work.
Summer will be all about colour and I've got my eye on this one, now to actually buy something pink...

How to wear it: Pink looks great with white, adding a pop of colour to an otherwise flat look, also accessorize with gold jewellery and you'll be set.

Enjoy the rest of the week!

Mirror Image

Okay so I got a little freaky with my photoshop.
Regardless.
This is the quick look I put together for a competition by Sportsgirl on how you style your prints! It ends tomorrow so I decided to jump at the chance to put my name in for the $100 giftcard.
Wearing Ally Print Jeans, Sportsgirl Grey Tee, Vintage Denim Jacket, market find Black Heels and A DIY Leather clutch.

I hope you all enjoy the upcoming weekend while I'm stuck indoors catching up on homework.

Style File

So for the past few days I've been working on my style file for my fashion unit at uni and it has been so great because I have actually been enjoying the research I have been doing! I've gotten to research different trends and different designers, some of whom I didn't know existed but am now in love with their work, a noteable designer being Mark Fast! He works mainly with knit and what he creates is truely amazing! My first assignment has been to create a styleboard (the picture above) to show a particular trend that I have been researching (distressed fashion) and how I am going to interpret it for my later projects. I can't wait to show you all what I come up with!

Enjoy the week!
