My Photoshoot!

Just a few pictures of my lovely model Nikki who modeled my creations for Style Hunting this past weekend, it was a really fun day and am so happy with how my pictures turned out! Let me know what you think!
I will also post a few pics from backstage at Perth Fashion Festival in the next few days.

Out of the Loop

If there was an award for the worst blog updater I think it would go to me, Uni went a bit cray cray the last two weeks and I've been running to catch up.
Since I've been gone some exciting things have been going on that I have been apart of!
On Friday night I volunteered for my uni tutor Emma Bergmeier of All of the Above Creative at the event Remedy which was raising money for cancer research through a silent auction of one off designer pieces! I had a really great evening with my uni friends and looking at all the lovely stylish people who attended for such a great cause!
Here I am dressed by Miss Brown Vintage who supplied cute little mustard dresses for us to wear, I think mine was a vintage YSL!
This unique piece was designed and made by Elisha Quintal of the label The Butcher and The Crow who was a major inspiration for my uni project which you can see in my previous post.
The whole studio was filled with these beautiful yellow flowers in little apothecary jars.
Also finally I am volunteering with Perth Fashion Festival this year! I'll be volunteering at some big events this upcoming weekend so I'll certainly take some sneaky pics!

Enjoy the week!

Cabin Fever

I feel like I've been going a little crazy, I've spent the last few weeks cooped up inside my house, venturing out only for uni or work, and am desperate to go out anywhere! I feel like planning a day trip somewhere with friends or my boyfriend, just anything would be fun right now. These are a few pictures showing some of the work I've been doing for university, I've been getting my sewing skills on and making feeble attempts at pattern making.

I've also been doing felting for my uni project, I always see felt as something old ladies wear but for this project I'm attempting to make it fashionable for the younger generations!

This is my effort at shibori dyeing, I was wanting it black but instead it came out this gorgeous blue colour.
Now just to sew everything together!
